Pandora Gets Jealous

 Pandora Gets Jealous

Pandora Atheneus Andromaeche Helena, her friends call her Pandy, has always been too curious. When she has Show-And-Tell at her school, she knows that she can't show her dad's liver in a jar (again). So when she finds a mysterious box, she has to take it. It accidentally, ACCIDENTALLY, gets opened at school, and she releases 7 evils into the world. She and her family are brought before the gods, and is sent on a quest to collect all of the evils all over the world in 6 months. If not, she will become the most unpopular maiden in all of Athens. This book was written by Carolyn Hennesy. I would rate this a 5 out of 5 stars. It was funny and that's pretty much it, but it also had some great characters who stuck together and really made this book better. My favorite character was Alcie. She was the funniest character because when the box gets opened, she ends up with two left feet and she spews random, funny sayings, words, and phrases throughout the story. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the Percy Jackson series. Have fun reading!

The Shadow Crosser

 The Shadow Crosser

This is the third and final book of Zane's journey in the Mayan god world. Zane is traveling the world with a demon to find the rest of the godborns. When he reaches the final godborn it turns out to be two, and they are protecting something from falling into the wrong hands. When Zane gets back to his training at SHIHOM, the gods have been captured, and Zane has to go on an epic journey to rescue them, protect the secret object, keep the godborns safe, and defeat the bad guys. With a little help from Brooks, the twins, Ren, and Hondo. This book was written by JC Cervantes. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It had a great plot, some funny characters, suspense, and action. My favorite character was Alana, one of the twins. She has a really cool power and was a smart character that pushed the plot forwards. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the Percy Jackson series, The Lost Hero, or the earlier books in the trilogy. Have fun reading!

The Lost Hero

 The Lost Hero

Jason wakes up on a bus on day with a girl, Piper, he doesn't know and a boy, Leo, who claims to be best friends with. The three get taken to Camp Half Blood, and get claimed by by their godly parents. They need to rescue Piper's father and save Hera, the queen of the gods, in four days, without getting killed. They face metal dragons, cyclopes, angry wind spirits, and an evil woman who uses magic to trap them and harm them. Can they rescue Piper's father and Hera in time? This book was written by Rick Riordan. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because it was funny, and full of action and suspense, but for some reason, I just didn't really like it which is really funny because I love these Greek and Roman (and even Mayan) god stories. My favorite character was Leo. He was really funny, and just acted like the friend you want. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the Percy Jackson series, or the Storm Runner series. Have fun reading!

The Sorceress

 The Sorceress

The Sorceress is the third book in the Alchemist series. Perenelle is stuck on Alcatraz surrounded by a bunch of monsters, Nicholas is running from Dee and trying to get the twins trained in all of the elemental magics, and the twins don't know who to trust: Dee or the Flamels. Can they rescue Perenelle, get trained in the water magic, escape from Dee in time before the Flamels die of old age? This book was written by Michael Scott. I would rate this 5 out of 5 stars. This was a great book, full of suspense, it had a great plot, and some awesome characters. My favorite character was either Perenelle or Scathach. They are both powerful female warriors, who like to take charge when they are in trouble. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Harry Potter or the other books in the
series.
