Jason wakes up on a bus on day with a girl, Piper, he doesn't know and a boy, Leo, who claims to be best friends with. The three get taken to Camp Half Blood, and get claimed by by their godly parents. They need to rescue Piper's father and save Hera, the queen of the gods, in four days, without getting killed. They face metal dragons, cyclopes, angry wind spirits, and an evil woman who uses magic to trap them and harm them. Can they rescue Piper's father and Hera in time? This book was written by Rick Riordan. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because it was funny, and full of action and suspense, but for some reason, I just didn't really like it which is really funny because I love these Greek and Roman (and even Mayan) god stories. My favorite character was Leo. He was really funny, and just acted like the friend you want. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the Percy Jackson series, or the Storm Runner series.
